Just spent 6 days at Hagerston with my two children and would just like to say what a great time we had food and activities were great but what made the holiday was the entertainment your entertainment team are first class and my kids loved every minute of it your entertainment team are a credit to you they made our holiday a big thank you to penny zara poppy and especially Lauren you all made our week.
We went to Haggerston for the day to visit our daughter who is there with her fiance and 3 children. We took them to the Mash & Barrel for dinner and thought it was very good for the money and then food was decent. The staff were friendly and efficient and couldn't have been more helpful when our grandson started choking during the meal. Thankfully my husband was able to dislodge the piece of food stuck in his windpipe so a tragedy was averted. But the staff (waiting staff and security) were very attentive and kept checking we were ok. Considering the restaurant was so busy, they did a grand job all round.
We were worried about visiting as majority of the complex has been closed for new developments , but arriving on part we were greeted Bradley bear which had my children smiling straight away, Bradley came down and high fived my son in the back seat which was lovely . We then got to reception and the staff were friendly and well organised, our caravan was clean and not to far away! We watched the entertainment , and to be shocked to see the faces of Carli and Charlie back from last year , what a surprise ! The children remembered them and were so happy to see them doing go live on the Saturday . So much that we booked to stay Monday till Friday, it’s not cheap but our children love these two entertainers and find them very funny. It takes a lot for our children to come out of there shell but these two had a way with them both and made them enjoy every minute! The rest of the team didn’t stand out as much but that may have been because we like these too so much, please can you pass on a message to the entertainment team thanking them especially Carli and Charlie who yet again made our family cry with laughter . What lovely genuine people. We will be back to vist for sure.
Fantastic place to stay. Went with husband sister and brother in law. Check in was easy just gave the car registration, drove straight to caravan where the keys were waiting. Caravan was very clean and right on the lake where we were met with a family of swans who came to feed daily. All the staff were pleasant and friendly (some reviews are saying they had to wait for drinks but that's to be expected with covid) we didn't mind as they are short staffed. We had a leak in the ensuite and reception sent maintenance round and fixed it. Again very polite. Also we got the weather which was a bonus just a day of rain. All in all a great week.
