Perfect
We stayed here overnight the staff where lovely, the room was fabulous and was spotlesley clean, there was a good selection of toiletries and a brilliant selection of various teas and coffees in the room. The food was delicious and there was a great selection of drinks. There was a friendly atmosphere and it was toasty warm next to the open fire. We had full English for breakfast and it was brilliant in fact we couldn't eat it all there was so much. Highly recommend thank you.
Visited the The Barn for a 2 day stay in my motorhome. The experience was nothing short of a 5 star experience from the view, morning cappuccino, afternoon gin and Timothy Taylor’s, finished off with a superb evening meal. Everything about The Barn is class. A brisk stroll gets you on to public transport that gets you anywhere. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.
Cracking breakfast
Really good breakfast (the lack of eggs and mushrooms was my choice), freshly cooked, good quality ingredients, very tasty, washed down with decent coffee.
It got very busy on the Thursday morning I was there, and it's easy to see why. Had I been 20 minutes later I wouldn't have got a table.
100% recommended.
A real find for hot chocolate, coffee and Vinyl lovers. Picked up a record while having a drink with my family too. Would highly recommend! We will be back next time we're in Berwick.
Great local Coffee/tea shop
If ever you are in Belford or simply passing by do call in this lovely traditional tea shop - lots to choose from and excellent quality.
Amazing
Super friendly and dog friendly cafe. Wonderfully indulgent hot chocolate, superb coffee (roasted on site) and the most amazing crab sandwiches
Great place to have lunch or snacks and yummy cake, Good service and value, lovely staff and great food, can recommend the coronation chicken, baked potatoes and the delicious cake.
Truly Excellent
Today we have enjoyed the wonderful tasting menu at this superb yet understated restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service friendly and knowledgeable. Craig and Sarah have developed a truly magical experience. As someone who enjoys Michelin restaurants in this country and abroad, Audela and its chef rate as a restaurant to be watched for the future, a truly wonderful experience.
The First Class Cafe, on Lindisfarne is so named because the post office is part of the establishment. It is unassuming on the outside but don't let that put you off. It is an excellent cafe serving delicious cakes, scones and wonderful homemade soup. It's perfectly situated at the end of the round island walk and near the public loos. V friendly service. We'll go there again next time we visit Lindisfarne.
